Sunday 30th December 2018.
To say that tomorrow is the last day of 2018 is kinda strange. We always say that the years go quick, but I feel like for every year we get older, the years just go quicker.
I'm not a 'New Year, new me' kinda gal, but I do like to have goals in my head, have hopes for the year and just ride the wave until I crash off. I entered this New Years in St Albans, which was a pretty lame night if I'm honest. I had a good time with the girls, but all in all it was busy, expensive and the music was pretty rubbish. The night ended with a kebab and I wasn't even drunk.
Me, Myself and Thailand: Day 2
Sunday 11th November, 2018
5.55am my alarm was set for... 5.55am. You’d think being away would mean that you actually get some form of rest, but nooo... not me. I have to have action packed all the time and don’t think about how tired I’ll be when that moment comes. Breakfast is between 7-10am and my private transfer was due to pick me up at 8.30, so I ideally wanted to be having breakfast at 7.30.
The night before I knew my hair would need fixing, as the humidity here is crazy and I will end up looking like Monica when she went away in season 9/10 Friends. Luckily, however, when I woke up my hair was pretty tame... that was the alarm going on for another hour.

Me, Myself and Thailand: Day 1
Saturday 10th November, 2018
I had my alarm set for a depressing 5.50am and made sure I got little sleep that night in hoping I’d be KO on the plane. I had packed the night before, so I just needed to shove my hair up and put some comfy clothes on. I never bother to do my makeup for a flight (especially one that long) as:
1.It’ll only come off anyway
2.It’s a plane... why are you caked in makeup anyway?
3.The recycled air and air-con in planes is so bad for your skin. You’re basically putting your skin through torture by shoving layers of foundation on your skin and if rather not come off the plane with 3 volcanoes ready to erupt.
My Invisalign Experience Week 9 - 12
Sunday 4th November, 2018
It has now been just over 2 months since I started my invisalign treatment. I have only got up to 19 weeks and will need to go back and get the remaining amount when I get a chance to. I was going to get the full remaining amount, but this will come to £600ish, so I'm going to get the next 8 (around November time) to tide me into the New Year.
I am still not a massive fan of them. My two biggest hates are:

- the way they make me talk - my stutter is horrendous. I'm always tripping over my words and it is very frustrating when I can't get out what I want to say
- the look - I don't notice anything when my mouth is closed, but even just a small teeth smile I absolutely hate. The way the light reflects of the shine from the braces is enough to blind 20 people in one go.
Running for Mental Heath
Sunday 28th October, 2018
As I'm sure you have all seen by now, I am running the London Marathon for the Mental Health Foundation (click me to donate). I have been running for around 2 months now and have just completed my first 10k (finished in 58.16 - WOO).
In the past year or so, I've been a lot more open with speaking about mental health and it all comes down to the fact that it is something that is more commonly being spoken about. Unfortunately I've found that it tends to only appear mainly in the death of a well known figure, but regardless, this is still something that opens the eyes to those who may have had them closed.

Travels With My Father: Belgium
Sunday 21st October, 2018
Belgium was a pretty last minute decision. My dad had been moaning at me for going away to South Africa (even though it was booked in February earlier this year) because it stopped him being able to go to Belgium to go visit Flanders Fields. But because of me going to South Africa, he put off the visit and asked me a week before the due date of the trip if I'd like to go with him... One catch. It was to ride there on his motorbike... UHMMM.

My Invisalign Experience Week 5 - 8
Sunday 14th October, 2018
Thank the lord. I have completed 4 weeks of the invisalign treatment... Another 8.5 months to go.
I did actually forget to mention that my top teeth will not be taking as long as the bottom teeth. Actually, my top teeth are perfectly straight; however, the people at invisalign felt that my teeth could be pushed out more for a 'fuller smile', so here we are... Top and bottom teeth and remaining to look like Jaws from James Bond.

My Two Weeks Volunteering in South Africa
Sunday 30th September, 2018
Riverside is an interesting place to say the least. You're often covered in poo, dirt and sweat. You often come to face with some creepy crawleys, massive (poisonous tasting) grasshoppers, snakes and scorpions - all of which, yes, I did see. But despite all of that, this was without a doubt the best thing I have ever done.

Volunteering in South Africa
Thursday 13th September, 2018
I think everyone has noticed by now that I seem to be on the move quite a lot. I've come to the realisation that I don't want to leave this world having not done the most amazing things. I want to see the beauty in the world and leave my mark, help people, animals... Anything in any way that I can.
I want to look back at my life and think 'wow... What a life'.

Fancy a Pole Dance?
Sunday 2nd September, 2018
From the age of 18, I really wanted to start pole class. Not just because I wanted to be a stripper (that's a joke) but because I wanted to keep fit, gain confidence and improve flexibility and it sounded like the coolest and different way of doing so.

My Invisalign Experience Week 1 - 4
Tuesday 21st August, 2018
So it's 4 weeks later (since starting my invisalign treatment) as I'm writing this post and it's been a very interesting 4 weeks at that. There have been ups and downs with the teeth and I'm going to be brutally honest when saying I'm still not a massive fan of how they make me look.

My Invisalign Experience (Part 1)
Sunday 12th August, 2018.
This is how I felt towards my Invisalign treatment. Yes, you've read it... I've decided to go for Invisalign.
Before I continue, I'll give you the quick basics of how the Invisalign process works.
New York, I Love You
Sunday 5th August
I've made it quite a quest this year to tick more countries off the ever growing list I've created. Although I've been to New York, I felt that it was another 'must do' for my 2018 adventures.
My first visit to New York was quite a rushed one to say the least. I think I spent two full days before jetting back off home - boo! This time I managed a dull 4 days (still not as much time as I would have liked) and it was much more relaxed than the rush I had trying to fit everything in before.
Granted, I visited most of the same places as I did before and so I still haven't managed to do much different, but it's safe to say New York didn't disappoint.

The Truth About Food
Friday 1st September, 2017
A lot can happen in a persons life - some bad, hopefully most good...
I've learned to be pretty open about my past; writing blog posts, making videos and being vocal when people ask. But there is still just one thing that I find the hardest to talk about.

Feeling Wild
Wednesday 30th August, 2017
It's about time I wrote another post... It's been quite a while, and what better to write about than Reading Festival?

It's A Wonderful Life
Wednesday 17th May, 2017
I guess it's known to many people about the struggles that I've had in the past - the video blog I made over a year ago only proves that. It wasn't long after that, that I got a lot worse (hence it being the one of the last video's I've made). I'm pretty ashamed to say that doctors, hospital trips and the occasional therapist became pretty normal to me... Being dosed up on anti-depressants and being on an eating disorder watch is something I like to hope is as low as it will ever get for me.

The One With New York
Wednesday 26th April
It's been a little while since I last posted and I apologise for that! I've been struggling with ideas on what to write about. I was going to write about New York the moment I booked it two weeks ago, but I actually booked New York to surprise my dad, so by blogging about it, it would have kinda given it away...

Donating Bone Marrow Part 1
Sunday 2nd April, 2017
59.7% of people over the past 5 years have survived Leukaemia, 40.3% didn't. This ranges mainly in young children, but cancer doesn't have favourites, it picks who it wants. That's acrazy scary thought to think that if you were to be diagnosed, you'd only have a 60/40 chance of survival...

The BodyBoss Plan WEEK 3 & 4
Sunday 26th March, 2017
I've completed the first two weeks and now there are two more weeks before I can actually start the PROPER training. So far it feels like the plan is going pretty slow, but I don't find it boring! It's a nice feeling to know that you've worked/are working hard and hopefully starting to get results - regardless, it's healthy.
Again, if you want to skip the breakdown of how the last 2 weeks went, feel free to skip to the end of the blog post where you will see week 3 and 4 results against week 1 and 2.

Meet Woody the Bengal
Monday 20th March, 2017.
Around April 2016 I lost my baby. She was the most beautiful cat to roam Luton, a teeny tiny Ragdoll cross breed (with Siamese) and her name was Rosie. From the age of four to twenty, I was inseparable from this cat. I always said that when I have children, if I loved them even half the amount I loved my cat, they'd be pretty damn lucky.
She was an old gal, and lived to a pretty great age of 17 years old. She was hilarious and had the best personality a cat could have, I was pretty devo when she passed away.
